President

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership to the organization, to ensure the voice of the membership is being represented effectively, and to provide a strong and professional face to the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Students’ Association.

ujjval chavda

VP Moose Jaw Campus

The role of the VP Moose Jaw Campus is primarily to work with the Moose Jaw student body on any problems, concerns or issues that they are experiencing at a campus level.

Ujjval is also the Chair of the SPSA Finance Committee who acts as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer, ensures that changes and improvements recommended by external Auditors are implemented into the SPSA’s Financial and Organizational systems. The Finance Committee also performs monthly and quarterly reviews of the budget and present to the appropriate Council for approval.

Rajesh Chandran

VP Prince Albert Campus

The role of the VP Prince Albert Campus is primarily to work with the Prince Albert student body on any problems, concerns or issues that they are experiencing at a campus level.

Rajesh also chairs the SPSA External Affairs Committee which acts as the official student representative on external committees/societies and on Saskatchewan Polytechnic Interprovincial Committees as assigned and approved by the General Council.

Sydney Soloway

VP Regina Campus

The role of the VP Regina Campus is primarily to work with the Regina student body on any problems, concerns or issues that they are experiencing at a campus level.

Sydney chairs the SPSA Academic Affairs Committee which acts as a resource for students on issues related to their academic experience and provides the student perspective on academic issues to Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

Cecily CHartier

VP Saskatoon Campus

The role of the VP Saskatoon Campus is primarily to work with the Saskatoon student body on any problems, concerns or issues that they are experiencing at the campus level.

Cecily is also the chair for the SPSA Student Affairs Committee which is responsible for addressing non-academic issues, including but not limited to: campus parking, on and off campus housing, transit, transportation, security, safety and sexual violence. The Student Affairs Committee also ensures that the SPSA Operations and Services are meeting the needs of its members.
