President

  • Provide leadership to the organizations and ensure the voice of the membership is being represented effectively and provide a strong and professional face for the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Students’ Association Inc.
  • Spokesperson for the SPSA and the Student Body
  • Responsible for matters relating to Saskatchewan Polytechnic, the Government, Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon Campuses
  • Liases with the General Manager
  • Represents the student body on the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Board of Directors

Vice President Finance

  • Provide focused leadership in the areas of Finance of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Students’ Association.  Actively strive to improve existing services and to work toward increasing profitability and success of the SPSA’s business ventures.
  • Oversees the financial and operational aspects of the SPSA
  • Establishes the Annual Budget in conjunction with the General Manager and is responsible for the Annual Service Review and the Remuneration and Honorarium Committees.
  • Oversees the presentation of the quarterly budget reports to the General Council.

Vice President Campus – Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon

  • Provide the leadership of the Campus Council and ensures that the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Students’ Association is being responsive to the needs and requests of the membership at their Campus
  • Appoints, oversees and works with the Campus Council Representatives of their respective Campuses
  • Facilitate and address student concerns
  • Chairs the Council Connect Meetings on Campus
  • Each VP chairs one of the four SPSA Standing Committees (Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, External Affairs and Finance)

Campus Council Representatives – Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon

  • Shall serve as a fiduciary to the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Students’ Association Inc.
  • Advocate for students and ensure that student concerns are properly voiced, heard, and addressed
  • Promote and contribute to an exciting Campus community by encouraging active participation in SPSA events either as a participant, volunteer or spectator
  • Review and approve Governance Series Policies received from Executive Council and the Governance & Policy Committee
  • Participate in at least one SPSA Standing Committee as per the Bylaws
  • Attend and participate in all mandatory scheduled meetings
