mylegalplan
mylegalplan was built to address student concerns around the anxieties and financial pressures of pursuing legal action. mylegalplan is designed to ensure that students have a resource available to them that provides them with considerable legal coverage, a national legal network and an easily accessible legal hub. This service is only available to members of the SPSA Health and Dental Plan.
mylegalplan provides:
- Legal coverage of up to $3250 per incident to pursue civil legal issues as well as unlimited and complete access to a collection of do-it-yourself legal documents, forms and contracts. You can also find legal articles, definitions and guides.
- A 24/7 legal hotline that allows you to book an online consult for a specific legal issue and speak with a Legal Assistant.
- A national network of lawyers specializing in civil law.
- Access to hundreds of customizable legal documents and other online resources that can be easily downloaded.

Eligibility
mylegalplan is a part of the SPSA Health Plan. The eligibility criteria to be automatically enrolled in the Health Plan are:
- You are enrolled at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, or Regina Campuses; and
- You are accepted into eligible programs which is 12 weeks or more in length; and
- You are residing in Canada and studying in person or online.
Please note if you opt-out of the SPSA Health Plan, you are automatically opted-out of the mylegalplan service.
